The Nasarawa State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (NSCPWB) is the official government-agency established by the Government of Nasarawa State to organise, coordinate and assist Christian pilgrims from Nasarawa State in their journeys to the Holy Land and other sacred pilgrimage destinations.
Our primary mission is to facilitate safe, meaningful and well-managed pilgrimage experiences for residents of Nasarawa State, ensuring each pilgrim receives comprehensive support before, during and after the journey.
Our Vision
To become a leading pilgrimage support body which provides an enabling environment for pilgrims from Nasarawa State to travel with dignity, spiritual fulfilment and optimal welfare in Israel, Jordan, Rome and other recognized destinations.
Our Mission
To arrange and oversee the logistics of pilgrimages for Christian faithful from Nasarawa State – including application, screening, travel, accommodation, security, and post-trip support.
To safeguard the welfare of pilgrims from our state and uphold the highest standards of conduct and professionalism in all our operations.
To collaborate with the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), other state pilgrim boards and partner organisations to ensure transparent, efficient and spiritually enriching pilgrimages.
Core Responsibilities
Processing and screening intending Christian pilgrims from Nasarawa State.
Liaising with airlines, ground service providers and foreign hosts in pilgrimage destinations.
Ensuring suitable accommodation, transport, health, immigration and security support for pilgrims.
Educating pilgrims on conduct, logistics and expectations during the pilgrimage.
Submitting comprehensive reports of each pilgrimage exercise to the state government and relevant oversight bodies.

Governance & Support
NSCPWB works under the supervision and guidance of the state government and the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission. In June 2025, the NCPC pledged its full support to NSCPWB and its newly-appointed Executive Secretary, affirming the Board’s commitment to performance, transparency and holistic pilgrim care.
